A retired music educator who moved to Drexel Park from Charleston, West Virginia to be closer to family. After 34 years of teaching Chuck retired and worked in a community arts program in southern, rural West Virginia teaching wind and percussion lessons. This program had a huge impact on the students involved.
Upon being asked if he might be interested in the Upper Darby Arts and Education Foundation, he did some research and discovered many similarities between the UDAEF and that West Virginia community arts program. Having seen how students can benefit from these kinds of programs, he knew he needed get involved.
