Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. makes a splashy return  to Upper Darby Summer Stage, July 16-18

July 9, 2024 - Drexel Hill, PA. Upper Darby Summer Stage continues its 49th season with Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. the beloved children’s movie, book, and musical. Performances are July 16, 17, and 18 at 10:30 am. and July 17 and 18 at 7:00 pm. Shows take place at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center located at 601 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Drexel Hill. Parking is free.

Journey “Under The Sea” as Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, and others return to Summer Stage! Based on Disney’s iconic motion picture featuring an Academy Award Winning score by Alan Menken, this Disney staple will surely leave you wanting to be part of Summer Stage’s world as the Disney magic returns to Delaware County!

Tickets are $11-$15 and can be purchased online at udsummerstage.org or by calling the box office at 610-814-7270. Young audience members and their families are invited to come early to the performances for fun pre-show activities and to stay after the show to meet cast members. Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. is ideal for ages three and up.

Show director Sarah DeNight said, “We are excited to bring the story of The Little Mermaid to life this summer.” She added, “We hope to pay homage to the classic and new iterations while celebrating the themes of believing in the power of your voice and following your dreams!”
